Many from different religions say that they ”love God”.

But what does the Creator teach? What does the Creator teach about loving Him?

An important question is who was historical Yeshua – the Messiah – taught about this.

We can learn this by studying Messianic prophecies. One of them is Yeshayahu [”Isaiah”] 9:5-6. In Hebrew, according to etymology (science of the origins of words and their meaning), the prophecy prophecies that both Ribi Yehoshua ha-Mashiakh [“the Messiah”] and his followers will keep the directives of Torah [“the books of Moses”] and teach others that they must do likewise. So now one can discern if one is following Yehoshua – the Messiah – based on this prophecy.

Thus also his teachings about how to love the Creator must have been in accordance with this. In the Torah it is written in Devarim [”Deuteronomy”] 6:4-9 about loving the Creator that we should love Him with all of our heart, nephesh and our very all; and the verses stipulates that this is done by practising His directives of the Torah.
